Herrodair! My name is Jennifer! I have a ton of nicknames but the name I'm most known for is Mommy ๑(^,^)๑ I'm a single mommy to one very curious, very bright, and very funny boy! This blog is dedicated to the magical adventures that is our life and also to the art that I create! I love to dabble in mixed media, paints, photography, videography, computer graphics, and crafty goodness! You'll find a variety of posts to include love, family, arts, crafts, food, music, and obsessions with llamas, aliens, mermaids, vampires, and of course zombies! All of these things inspire me to create and motivate me to share and spread the love and happiness! Just like life, some things I create are creepy and lovely and some are bright and dark at the same time; it all depends on the thoughts and feelings I have and the story I want to tell the world! 

F.A.Q.

1. What nationality are you?

My mother is Korean and my dad is Caucasian, I am a beautiful blend of both!

2. Can you speak Korean?

I am partially fluent in speaking the language as well as reading and writing it!

3. Do you have any siblings?

Yes, I have one beautiful sister who is six years younger than me; but, we like to pretend that we are fraternal twins that were separated at birth who happen to have completely opposite personalities and yet are the same.

4. Do you get along with your sister?

Yes, not always but it is definitely better than what it was when we were younger! The older that we have gotten and the fact that we are both single moms to boys make it pretty easy for us to have some pretty great sisterly moments!

5. What is your relationship status?

I'm in a very happy relationship with a man that has the same affinity for Edgar Allan Poe as I do, hence why I call him *Edgar in all my posts. His name is actually much more interesting, but to protect him from completely being mortified by all my weirdness[ my words not his], I decided to nickname him with our favorite poets first name.

6. How long have you been dating *Edgar?

I like to pretend that we're already an old couple that have been together since the beginning of time, but in actuality we've been madly in love with each other for about three years! He was a friend that became a best friend when I needed one the most and  we "accidentally" fell for each other!

7. Does your son know about *Edgar?

Yes! They love each other and get along fairly well! I didn't introduce them to each other for about a year. I wanted to make sure it was "right" before it was the right time!

8. Why are you blogging about your life?

Writing has been a passion of mine ever since I could read and I felt blogging would get me motivated into other passions I have like art!

9. Do you worry about getting too personal?

All the time! I contemplate some of the topics I post and may end up editing or deleting or drafting some, but I wanted to make sure I didn't get into the habit of bringing only rainbows and sunshine all the time because it makes it pretty difficult to write when I'm having a pretty gloomy day. Sometimes you got it write away the rain to get to the rainbow!

10. Why "Mommy is a Zombie"?

Honestly, when I was thinking of a blog name all I could think was "I'm tired, I'll nap on it zzzzzzzzZzzzz...." Being a mommy is a tough job and being a single working mommy can be tiring, but every moment is absolutely worth the loss of limbs and brain functionality! I wanted to write about that so it made sense for me to tie it in with my obsession with zombies!
